Pink Ice Ball
Held annually, the Pink Ice Ball is a formal event where the chapter honors local unsung heroes. The Pink Ice Ball is the chapter’s major fundraising effort and funds our scholarship program.


AuKtion4Acure
This event is a luncheon and auction that support local hospitals and agencies in the fight against breast cancer.


Red Wine Sip
This event is held in February to bring awareness to heart disease, the #1 killer of women. At Red Wine Sip the ladies of Rho Rho Omega go Red for a day and raise money for the American Heart Association while enjoying jazz and wine.

A.Y.L. (Aspiring Young Ladies)

Over 10 years ago, the Rho Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® began AKA Juniors, a mentoring program geared towards young ladies in Middle School, grades 6 through 8.  This mentoring program was developed to help foster young ladies into becoming productive citizens.  There are several workshops and community service projects that are integral components of the mentoring program.  These components are developed and organized according to the 5 Program Targets identified by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®  AKA Juniors is now known as A.Y.L. (Aspiring Young Ladies).  The members of Rho Rho Omega Chapter are grateful for the opportunity to ‘pay it forward’ by assisting with the physical, social, emotional, academic, and career development of these young ladies.
